After Completing his move from relegated Congo United to Gor Mahia in what was regarded as a major coup by K’Ogalo fans, Rama Salim was part of the training squad at City Stadium on Monday.

The midfield wizard who is adored for his “Messi like” touches was this voted the best new player in the 2011 KPL league and says he looks forward to a great season with Gor Mahia.

“I am happy to be at Gor Mahia. Everything has been good since I joined. The fans have high expectations and I have to work hard to give back to this great club,” Said Salim.

With Gor Mahia chasing for the Kenyan Premier League title and CAF Confederations cup, Rama Salim has faith in the club’s signing ahead of the new season. He adds that all other clubs will find the going tough when they meet the former Mandela Cup and reigning FKL Cup Champions.

“With all the competitions coming up, our squad has depth and the competition for starting role will be great and healthy for the club. One thing that will bring glory is teamwork .We must work collectively as a team to attain our goals. Many clubs will dread meeting the new look Gor Mahia,” Added Rama.

@ #1 Mla Ndege. Nyinyi Watanzania ogopeni !

  • Mla ndege I thing you have noted something sinister in a good way brewing in the Gor camp and I know you are not the only one. Am sure those people of Mozambique club have got a genuine reason to be scared because they are reading this blog. You are about to witness MAYIENGA MAYIENGO PINY. If you know what htat means. am sure the continent s soccer stakeholders are also on the watchout for Gor Mahia

Kong’alo is a God fearing club, remember that our coach need some of our assistance and support.Even though those who have gone to other clubs they thought there team can defeat Mayienga that’s impossible and on 18.02.2012 and 03.03.2012 we are playing Ferroviario Maputo on Orange confederation cup,let us be 2gether as Kogalo’s brothers and sisters.N/B Kogalo is lifting 2012 Kenya Premier League Title even ‘Wepukhulu’ AFC Coach knowa that.
