Fullback Wellington Ochieng, who was released by Gor Mahia recently has joined Tusker who are in the midst of strengthening their side for the 2020-2021 league.

“Ochieng’ is now our player, he signed with us yesterday [Thursday]. He is an experienced player who will give us much-needed experience at the back. Ochieng’ is also versatile and I believe he will be a valuable asset to the team” Tusker FC chairman Daniel Aduda told goal.com.

Wellington joined Kogalo from Muhoroni Youth. He was released a few weeks ago alonsgide Edwin Lavatsa. His career at Kogalo started well but he has been injury prone in the past two years.

It was widely reported that he was to move to NAPSA stars of Zambia but his transfer hit a snag because the club issued him a release stating that he is not owed any money.

    I wish Wellington the best.
Lack of proper treatment could have derailed his sizzling form which I hope he regains.
    What’s the fate of Batambuze?
GMFC should take better care of its players.

    Hehe choices have consequences!

The GMAF/ Branches COC fronted Treasurer seems to be making news for all the wrong reasons and revealing her true colours/ agenda.

    1) Appearing for the unveiling of the head coach in a Real Madrid jersey. It seems the last time she felt she needed to don a K’galo branded jersey was when hoodwinking members by presenting GMAF winning bonus cheques to players/TB.

    2) Opening a new Paybill Number and giving her own personal contact for the sale of club merchandise. The club has since corrected the situation.

    3) Actively and aggressively engaging in activities outside her docket and the expense of core duties financial management of Gor Mahia Club.
E.g can she give an update of the club’s current financial status?
