  • The team is good, there is depth in the bench and morale is high among funs, the remaining task is only jelling to the top so that Abey,Rama,Sserkuma,Kiongera and Lavatsa can get the tune of one another. In defence Emuge has allready won the no. In central deffence all will be well.

I think the team is good and I cant say that we lost because we drew. At the same time Ithink this match to us it was more of a friendly than a competetive much as was taken by sofapaka fc .I also think that David Owino has shown that he is a player to count on bcoz when Loga substituted him the chance to score for sofapaka was there and they did exactly that. this happened also in uganda on the final match against uganda when he had an unjury and uganda scored almost imediately he was taken out of the field.

overall we have a solid team capable of going places. However we must work on our finishing. We need to outscore teams with more than just 1 goal.Against sofa we tried to hang on to the 1 goal and it proved costly at the end.
Our new signings…Emuge and Kiongera are good buys!!

The team is good. It was the subs that costed us the blunnder. There was no need removing Ssurunkuma, Owino and Musoti. All these clearly created loopholes for Sofapaka to put pressure on us that resulted into Agwanda’s cross easily tapped for an equalizer. If we played the formation we played agaist Mathare in the second half we could have won the match by a huge margin. Anyway I know the coach took this match as a way of gauging player’s perfomance and so it’s good he now know clearly the weaker areas to improve on.

Let us take it positively and accept the results. The coach has also leant that Jerry is not good when it comes to penalties and where there is too much pressure…

It was a good friendly game but I saw something unique in David Owino. This is a great defender who should be fielded regularly. He kept out Agwanda completely and I think the Coach will be fielding him on regular basis.

Meanwhile we need to work on the midfield in order for our strikers to get neat passes upfront and crosses. Kiongera was a good buy and this lad has a great future.

I think Gor Mahia need two more friendly games to look at transition of the ball from midfield to the attack.

I think our striking is just OK with the inclusion of Kiongera up there, what kills our game is the midfield that’s where something needs to done so that our strikers can get the supplies

  • I think the game was good and gave the team a chance to try and jell together. Everybody was a bit slow only that I want to encourage Rama to resist going down so easily even if he is wronged. Football in Africa is very physical so to add on to his slick passes, let him develop on stamina. This will give him the opportunity to protect the ball better.
