Schools MVP expresses interest in Kogalo
Michael Olunga has been voted the most valuable player at the recently concluded Kenya Secondary Schools term 2 games in football. So far he has drawn interest from top teams like Tusker and AFC Leopards. Former Harambee stars coach Mohammed Kheri has likened him to Mike Origi, the first Kenyan ever to play in a top tier European league.
In the video above, Olunga expresses interest in playing for Kogalo around the 55 second mark
like we snapped up Mubiru, lets do the same to Olunga. They will form the backbone of Gor for years to come!!
Welcome but be ready to think and run.
Koops was already in Msa to scoop him up. From what I know his dream is to play for Kogalo, after which he may try the Ingwe colours, if he chooses. After all most footballers in Kenya would like to play for these two clubs during their local careers
Wel done boyz.a point also counts.
It will be irresponsinsible to to give him a tryout. We will loose him to Ingwe just like we lost Victor Ochieng whose father , a former Kogalo star pleaded for Kogalo to take him. We did not, he went to Chemelil scored many goals and finally went to Ingwe.
I see that Koops is interested in building a future AFC. Sadly our technical bench is not building for the future..Sad
@Riaga, I do not concur with you. We have young players that are coming up and hopefully these young lads are going to make it. We have Lavasta, Odongo, Roy, Fred, Mubiru etc. We hope to have Olunga and Calvin Odongo of Upper HiLl School joining us sooner.
I’m very happy wiht how our players displayed theirfoot ball skills. This is the kind of foot ball Gor should play. Technical bench good work. Goals some times are elusive. My desire is to see Kogalo in continental tornament next year please work on it. For the EC mortivate the players the fans are ready to participate in any small or big way.
Let us get Michael Olunga if our budget allows since his dream is to play for Kogalo.
its not about what the player desires, Let the people responsible decide. everyone should be left to do their work without interference.
Though a good player as seemingly he is, let the coach do his work, we may say what we want to say but Lugarisic may think otherwise, but I believe this is a chance that Gor should not lose!
If he can think and run on his feet. why not ?
