Starting Line up released

Gor Mahia has named a strong squad to start their first leg match against Ferroviario of Mozambique in the first leg match of the CAF Confederations Cup set to be played at the   stadium later this evening at 8:00PM Kenyan time.

Skipper Jerim Onyango will start in goal for Gor Mahia. Yusuf Juma, Ivan Anguyo, Musa Mohammed, and Anthony Akumu will marshal the defense line: Collins OKoth , Victor Ali Abondo, Kevin Ochieng  and Moses Otieno will be in charge of Kogalo’s engine in midfield while Ibrahim Kitawi and Baldin Ngwa will start in twin attack.

The match will start at 7:00pm Maputo time (8:00pm Kenyan time).

Gor Mahia’s Ronald Ngala who is with the team in Maputo has said the boys are in a charged up morale ahead of the match calling on Kenyans to keep them in prayers as they take on their hosts’ in search of a win.

“We arrived well , so far everything is smooth and we are looking forward to a bright evening. We call on our fans and Kenyans to support us in spirit.” Said Ngala.

  • Is this what over training can do? I think there is a difference between working hard and working smart. On seeing that they were greatly overpowered and that it was an away game, they should have gone back into their eighteen yard box to defend all of them for a draw.It does not take a genius to reason out that! Now we will need a miracle of some sort to score 4-0 in the return leg. We need a football miracle
