  • this tournament needs to turned into a league hopefully with the top two teams earning promotion to the division one
    KPL should come up with a rule that all premier league clubs should have a consistent under 19 team starting next year

    On the issue of Rama I guess his heart is not on Gor anymore and so I wonder why the EC is dilly dallying in releasing him. The best thing was to let the player make his decision before we rush to the press. As of now all the player has to do is to pay back the 6 months remaining on their contract and off they go

    I think lets leave this tranfer issue to rest its destructing our attention for nothing,lets see how we can motivate our remaining playesrs and stop critisizing them always so that we they can play under no pressure n we will definately see the results,i knw Rama n Sere r good players but if they av decided to leave lets plz just wish them well n pray we get other good players like them.

    @Erico, you are spot on. When BlackBerry left we thought the team was done but alas we are still here fighting for the title as always. Why do we believe that we cannot have a ‘Rama’ or “Danny’ from the remaining players? I have this belief that we all need to calm down, stop the transfer talk and motivate the team to grind the results in the coming matches. The goodness with this league is that no team is superior and assured of a win always. That means that as we win, draw and (God forbid) lose the other teams will undergo the same thing. All we have to do is to ensure we gain more points than any of the teams behind us. From the way we played against City stars I believe we will win our next matches. We created the chances and as usual made sure the defence was airtight. Now let’s put those chances away. Our conversion rate is low

    Ken Joseph: The truth behind the Sserunkuma saga

    I would like to thank Esquire Ambrose Rachier for his clarifications on the issues surrounding Dan Sserunkuma. However, it seems to me that his memory has failed him.

    I would also like to remind Esquire Ambrose that I did not speak to him a month ago regarding Sserunkuma’s trials in Armenia – my UK telephone provider informs me that I actually spoke to him a week ago – on the 31st of July 2013 about Dan’s travel to Armenia and our conversation lasted ten minutes in which he consented to the player’s travel.

    I would also like to thank him for addressing the club’s policy of not hindering any players’ move and that the right channels had to be followed in accordance with laid down procedures. However, one begins to wonder what next to do when all telephone calls, text messages, e-mails are being ignored by the chairman of a club.

    Can I remind Esquire Ambrose, that on the 26th of July 2013, our humble Sserunkuma had also informed his coach about the Armenian trials which led to the gaffer releasing this statement to the media;

    – We have three other strikers who are all capable. We try as much as possible to instill healthy competition in the team and that is what happening at our striking department”, Williamson told Futaa.com.

    -Danny will be leaving soon for trials and all I can do is wish him well. I believe the other strikers will do the job for us, he added.

    So if this is the case, why should myself and our humble Danny be punished? It is obviously clear as Dan stated, that there had been a gap in communication which he apologized for, he never apologized for any wrong doing, he apologized for maturity to prevail.

    As I speak, FC Banants are interested in Dan Sserunkuma’s services and would like to sign him on a loan deal. Now, if Esquire Ambrose has changed his mind due to reasons best known to him, then I can understand. I can also also understand if he decides to use me as his sacrificial lamb.

    The Armenian transfer window closes on Tuesday 13 August and the president of FC Banants has tried to reach Esquire Ambrose – but to no avail. In this modern world, where FIFA has introduced a TMS system for the transparency of football, I wonder why I should have to fly from London to Nairobi, while our humble Dan flies with FC Banants club officials from Armenia back to Nairobi to talk with Esquire Ambrose regarding this issue when we have less than a week to go before the transfer window closes? Excuse my cockiness, we are not talking about a ‘Ronaldo’ deal here – we are talking about a loan deal from Armenia which if agreed by both parties, can be sorted out via the TMS system with an hour so if this is the case, why should an agent have to travel from London to Nairobi for this?

    In a nutshell, I will always defend my humble client – Dan Sserunkuma. He was never sneaked out of the country. I say this because, if he was sneaked out of the country, the Gor Mahia coach would not had made this statement on the 26th of July 2013 before Dan’s travel to Armenia.

    The matter is very simple Esquire Ambrose, you agree to a loan deal from Armenia or not. But Dan has gone through so much pain – why not set him free and punish me? We have a few days to go – do you stick to your word and give him your blessings or do we put him on the next flight back to Kenya?
