Ingwe sinks Kogalo

It came as no surprise to many as Gor Mahia continued their poor run of form going down to arch rivals AFC Leopards 0-3. This is perhaps the largest margin of loss that Kogalo have ever been inflicted by Ingwe.

The first goal came when Keeper Jerim Onyango dashed out of his line, mistimed his jump and gave Charles Okwemba a chance to score whch he did not miss. Substitue Mike Baraza scored the second and capitalized on a defensive mistake to score the 3rd.

If anyone had doubted that something is seriously wrong at Kogalo then this should finally convince them. Coach Zico was missing from the bench but it did not matter. The players have quite possibly stopped responding to the coach. Also for one reasonor another, player morale is probably low. These two reasons would explain why the performance of the players has been sub par. The playing unit needs an injection of enthusiasm and that can only come from a new technical bench. Meanwhile the chairman is in serious denial about the reality on the ground. Either that or he is too busy campaigning for the KFF post that he has lost interest.

Someone calls himself the head coach yet he is nowhere to be seen when his team is playing a match which is not only very crucial but also puts the pride of a whole community at stake!

I hope the 3 goals are the what was required to sign the obituaries of AR as chair of Kogalo and ZD as tactitian.

Guys I’ve felt so hopeless; as the goals streamed in I could not help but to “hear earthworms crying in my stomach”!

What we witnessed today has been a disaster in waiting and more disasters will come unless right-thinking Kogalo followers take control of the situation. Common Vincent Ocampo lead the way.

We lost fair n square to a team which maximised on counter-attack
Its not time for blame game n we must plan for next season well
I propose n I hope someone will care to consider my opinion that one either we get a good back-up to Jerry Onyango the goal keeper or his penchant for punching goals be adressed urgently n he must improve his eye on the ball whenever there are many players infront of him as we’ve conceded goals whenever there is confusion in front of him which I opine is due to his lack of concentration
Secondly lies with our striking force,I suggest we get a back-up to Lavatsa and designate the two to be main strikers whose job wil be to all the time be @ position 9 area and their confidennce to always aim @ the keeper and nothing but the keeper whether he saves or not so as to run away from never having a designated striker where guys like Lavatsa are either assisting on the wings or aiding on bringing the ball forward.I support this theory considering that in Odhis Rasta we have a good supplier…so the striker will most of the time focus on getting goals
Lastly on the thorny issue of the head coach,I propose that we should not just think its the simple solution to our problems but if changes are to be made it must be someone of serious repute even if we can get a west-african or assistant coach from Brazil considering our players are more oriented with the samba style kind of play but MORE VITALY I would suggest we focus on getting a good goalkeeping and striking coach if Zico is to be maintained becos I think he is very good on planning the defence
But all in all even as we plan all this we must SERIOUSLY work on a way of diffusing pressure on our players cos with the media n fun overwhelming pressure, players, coaches n management focus more on being to cautious n not being relaxed a situation in which people tend to do more mistakes..
I once again affirm my unwavering support, loyalty and faith in K’Ogallo in loss, draw and win

We have been saying before that Zico will never and never take Gor Mahia anywhere. Am repeating it that this technical bench led by Zico wii end up giving us ulcers.

  • WHO UPDATES THIS SITE.

First, congratulates Ingwe for your win this evening

I want to take issue with the man or woman who update this site. When you read his commentary about the match, it is not only bias but also but also I’ll motivated. I get mad when this issue of the coach is repeated time and again. zico was absent conspicuously absent for the obvious reasons. But whether he is present or not, it does not matter. The other technical bench is equal to the job. To insuniate that the boys have long stopped to respond to the coach is blatant lies. And if that is the case, they have no business being part of us.

The issue of low morale is also not there. The club does not owe any player any arrears. They have been offered attractive incentives if they win the match. So, where does low morale come in?

I see believe we can finish in a respectable position if we remain focussed.
Zico is not going anywhere till the end of the season. A coach will not come from planet mars. Finally let me thank you most sincerely for the kind of maturity you displayed during the match. I salute the fans from both teams.

After carefully watching the annihilation yesterday I want to ask a small question: when in the 2009 season we finished 5th and 2nd last year who were the key players then and can we name any still playing today for Kogalo? If they are not in the team or are not playing regularly, that should show you how visionless this bench has been…Owiti,Kiplagat,Jakambare,Kitawi, Blackberry, Ochola(look how he is playing at sony, Isaac Okoth (Congo),Ongwae, Murunga,Anguyo. You do not need to think much, just sse Black berry, Kevin Omondi are no longer selected for Harambee Stars, that should tell you a lot about the coaching mentality both at Gor and Harambee Stars. Where is the back up for the defence, suppose one day Masika is not able to play, what will happen? Any way conratulations for leopards, they were the better prepared team, phisically but most importantly mentally.

I really dont know whats wring with our “supporters”.They know all and think everybody buys their idea.A united house stands and divided house collapse, this is exaclty what was happening to AFC leopards when Gor beat them. Why cant we learn from this? The season is almost over lets give this office a chance then the noise makers can come in.What have they done these people? This politics has got no place in the current football.Since the noise started thats when the team started going down and its still accelerating downwards watch guys.
TUZO money and gate collections is killing Gor Mahia. But let me warn you guys the sponsorship will not continue and ATARO and his group can not offer anything to the club.Shame on them the ATAROS

  • All I can do is to congagulate the fans for coming to the stadium in great numbers and behaving in a mature way despite the thrashing. Though we were beaten it’s supposed to be a lesson to us to know that the faster we have our house in order the better. I think our players are now suffering from such confidence crisis and it’s upto us to lift their morale. If this noise continues we might even have an exodus of our best players come the end of the season. At least this also proved that Zico as a person is not the only problem. Some of us have commented here that the problem is much more the ZD and yesterday we were proved right. Let’s do some soul searching, aim for a super 8 slot and then embark on strengthing the team from Dec to Fe b next year. Fortunaley we still have a brand which will attract the best sponsors locally and is admired by the best local players/coaches.

Ma fans, first and foremost thank you for turning up to cheer our beloved club. Second thanks for maturity dispalyed during and after the match. There is a problem in Kogallo however we are directing our guns to the wrong people. For 2 weeks now ZD has been away with Harambee stars. The camerounian has been in charge. He fielded the strongest lineup Gor can ever have. What did we see? I personally see the problem in the playing unit. Players are simply lazy. Players dont open up when they have the ball hence long balls, they dont follow up thier passes either. These are football basics that no coach will teach anybody. These are just lazy chap apart from a few like Masika, Kevin Omondi and Lucky dube. You notice that whenever ingwe player had the ball, there were so many blue/white shirts around him. That was completely lacking in Gor. Anyway, like I always say, we shall leave to fight another day. Lets put that defeat behind us and focus on the next match. We have 2 weeks before facing Bandari, so let the technical team correct the mistakes. For God and my club Kogallo.

LET US REASON AND APPLY SPORTSMANSHIP IN OUR COMMENTS.

Leopard won because they took their chances. We had plenty of chances but we did not utilize them. Our boys played good football and as a matter of fact;the boys more than four times opened up AFC defenders with split passes but finishing was poor.

We as the K’galo followers we were mentally prepared for a loss and some of us suffered from inferiority complex to the extent of deciding to stay away until things normalize. The previous match against KCB we had beaten our coach and mis-handled our players.

If we want winning result then it must start with us. We must stop demoralizing our playing unit. We must accept them as our players no matter what. ZICO kept off but players turned up for K’galo and not the coach.

We need to change our attitude towards players. Look at Lavatsa and jerry yesterday, they were so low and yet this are the same guys who tormented AFC When we won.

I have come realize that the harsh wordings and ill-motivated comments on this blog contributes 25 percent physiological torture to playing unit even before kick off. More often we create an awe-inspiring experience that will only lead to inject fear and lack of self-confidence to ourself, technical bench and ultimately the playing unit.

LET US LEARN HOW TO CRAWL,THEN WALK AND ULTIMATELY RUN. WE ARE HURTING OURSELVES AND IF WE ARE NOT CAREFUL WE MIGHT TURN KO’GALO TO BE A LUO-COMMUNITY CLUB OF WHICH IT IS NOT MEANT TO BE.

We have said all that is required to take GM to the next level, but if the EC can not do changes at this time and period of KPL ; then we must bear with them.

I STOPPED BEING EGO-CENTRIC WITH MY COMMENTS WHEN I REALIZED THAT PROBLEMS WITHIN GM IS MORE THAN ZICO.

There is a BIG problem brewing in Gor’s tech bench. We were the better team statistically yesterday, but looks like the players had something itchy at the back of their minds. Leoplards third goal summed it up! A total overhaul should be don on the tech. folks, bring in someone like the late Len Julians or Jack Johson! A European! We need new tactics period!!!!!

Dan its good not to join the bandwagon of people you do not know whose destination.

But Dan, you as a regular contributor in this blog who have consistently stood for status quo and stability could you rethink your stand about this?

-The squad that worked last year and was position 5 the other season is not there now and we are desperate..if you watched the match yesterday you may understand if you really mean you are a GM fan..this has been the outcry since the beginning of the season but ZD blatantly played the know all attitude and dismantled that team.
-A lot of people said before that ZD is bent on coming up with his own team why are you denying that the plan has flopped on us and we are now reaping the bitter fruits?
-Who are the noise makers and why should they be given the team to run..to make noise with..we do not need noise makers running the team.
-Our best players will only leave for better terms of service..as one of those who won’t talk on specific issues without evidence, i can only mention that if the rumours of players earning 25K is true then players of quality should leave as there are good teams in the country with good terms..remember Wekesa declined an offer to play for our rivals for the love of GM, but he may have very little to show for it..shouldn’t he leave for a better paying and more playing time granting team/ if he leaves its not because guys are clamoring for better things and ways of sorting out issues but he leaves due to professionalism.

All in all we do not deserve the thorough beating we got from Ingwe in fact a lot of their fans are asking what is wrong with the GM unit?

Wuon pap, its true let all who love GM seek a structural way of revamping the team from the management in the next election..
I also feel that issues should be articulated in a structured manner and the branches way to me could be a good avenue because we shall be dealing with the people we know and with proven identity of membership. That one i feel is a good idea.

Actually we played well but it was not our day going by most comment Kogalo has the biggest problem we should know the nature of the disease and how better we can cure it.ie We have the best doctors in our country but if the disease can be more complicated we can consult and acquire some help from FOREIGN doctors in consultation with our local doctors. This what happened to our Shemejis when they had the disease they had to consult now you see what has happened they are very healthy. We should borrow that idea.Again am saying GOR MAHIA is big than Rachier,Ataro,Ngala,Zico Myself and Others because the team will still remain in that view,I suggest we need an URGENT cure we get the best DOCTORS.To THE PLAYERS we do love you much let not politics divide you.WE RECKON YOU AS OUR AMBASSADORS.

  • I think we missed Ochomo with his powerplay. We also need to improve on our finishing. We are too soft in front of goal. Players also seemed to be in a hurry to release the ball maybe due to lack of confidence. Otherwise our team is still good but we need now to check our defence as we are leaking far too many easy goals. Had a chat with some AFC fans and they are wondering why of all things we can physically manhandle our own players. They claim they handled the discipline thing by having the mature fans to have a chat with the unruly ones to show them that hooliganism is doing more damage to their club. They also never stoned Yakama since they don’t know if they will ever need him again. Maybe we should follow suit. After yesterday’s game I belive what we lack in the team is the psychological edge. Total luck of confidence due to the wrangles is affecting the players. They are also targetting some of our most resourceful players and we all know them. Therefore if we don’t do proper housekeeping we might have to restart rebuilding the team next year. So long as we don’t do that then we could as well be stressed the whole season and even a Europen coach as suggested will not help as those guys believe in working structures. For the next two weeks we should prepare for Bandari and aim for a win there and we should not mind who is coach for these remaining six matches.

whoever is in charge of gor mahias’ technical bench should take most of the blame not only in yerterdays garfoe but in most matcher we’ve perfomed dismally. The synchrony between the t/bench and the playing unit is simply not there, the t/bench has failed to bring out the best from the players.teddy(viera)is now a pale shadow of his former self ,lavatsa is slowly fading away, kevo(daddy)is blowing hot and cold(though he had a great game yesterday),wekesa has been left to rot on the bench.as for kiplagat and macheda(if they are still around, that is),the less said about them the better.look at odera, wise and kevo(ochieng),great players in their former clubs, but what has happened to them since joining gor?they are no longer the same players we used to know a season ago.
All these point to a glaring technical ineptness from the t/bench.meanwhile the EC led by the chairman who are our leaders and ought to have seen these things earlier still dont want to admit that we have a problem at GM.Rachier all the good work attributed to you ,since you joined gor can be undone just by a single act of indecisiveness/arrogance.
As wuonpap’s @no5 says, the only way we can help our beloved kogallo from further sinking is to register ‘en masse’ so that come election time we can take charge of this team by electing people we know have the interest of the club at heart.people who we will give the best t/bench,one that wil rectify the mess created by the incumbent.
    I rest my case.

@Salapata Salawowo AND Albert Kosero i beg you guys to cool down your emotions and stop being subjective with current issue’s at stake within GOR MAHIA fraternity.

We all mean well for our beloved club and at this point in time we are dealing with crisis management and not character assassination despite our differences in opinion.

I like the u-turn VINCENT OCAMPO and myself have taken by approaching issue’s from a positive view point.

LET US THINK OF WHAT GOOD THINGS WE CAN DO FOR KO’GALO BY PRACTICING THE BEST CODE OF COMMUNICATION ON THIS BLOG.

GOR MAHIA BELONGS TO PEOPLE FROM ALL WALKS OF LIFE AND AS SUCH BARBARIC COMMENTS ON THIS BLOG ARE READ WORLDWIDE HENCE LEADING TO MIS-CONCEPTION OF ALL OF US.

While we are here fire-fighting and bragging amongst ourself our opponents are busy plotting how to beat us.

If we are truly followers of Ko’galo then let us get suggestion on the way forward as regards:

    1. The quality and callibre of the person who fits to
be the coach that will blend the team afresh next
    season.

    2. EC to prepare the coach service contract with an
exit clause that entails his job description and key
performance indicators that will be appraised
    quaterly

    2. Who are the current crop of players within and
without the country that we have identified to be
recruited next season based on skills and performance.

    3. What are the incentives and motivation factors that
we have put in place so as to attract them into GM.

    4. Lastly can we bloggers in GORMAHIA.NET agree with
the idea of coming up with the bloggers branch,
register with the main office and create our forum
for brainstorming, parting and sharing as brothers
    and sisters in Ko’galo family.

IF WE CAN ACHIEVE POINT NO:4 THEN BELIEVE ME GUYS WE SHALL HAVE THE CAPACITY TO STRENGTHEN THE CLUB AND BOND TOGETHER. AND NEVER AGAIN SHALL WE READ MISCHIEF AMONGST OURSELF.

I knew Gor would automatically sink to Ingwe but not that low. I generally think the players are good but they are not trained, they lack ideas what to do with the ball when on their possession. Again I really don’t know whats ever wrong with Jeremy (keeper) he hardly hold the ball. Only one goal by Barasa was justified but the rest, I strongly blame Jeremy, and this does not mean I hate Jeremy, he has been doing great.

As late as yesterday we still had goons saying that there is no way we can lose or something must happen! Several times me and my buddies have had a chance to talk off these guys from causing chaos but according to them it’s either their way or no way at all. Some even say they don’t care whatever happens let it be. How can you reason with such a guy? Not forgetting the liquor and bang being smoked in the stadium and yesteday was no exception. As much as I love GM I hate to see our name being messed up always. What happens to the families that go for the matches? Are they safe? It’s either we get banned and feel the pinch, both financially and the 12th man advantage or we change. The less that 1% goons that cause these problems will now add up the misery we already have. This means that the over 99% of the well-behaved fans will now suffer and carry this hooligans tag and pay for their damages. I feel sorry for the players. Maybe the ban (was it necessary?) might be productive in the long run in that the goons might see the light but what a way to end a season with flactuating fortunes.

The kind of wordings we throw at each other on this blog speaks volume on the way we conduct ourselves in the stadiums.

BEHAVIORAL CHANGE SHOULD START BY US AND THEN WE SPREAD THE MESSAGE OUT TO THE REST.

What a month for my beloved club? This ban could have been avoided if we let reason prevail. Some of us have been pleading for calm day in day out. I even remember having advice one of the blogger that he was a learned adult and it was absolutely his choice to remain calm or resort to violence. It appears he resorted to the latter and now we can all see what it means to be violent. Violence has never been a solution to any problem. Some of us complain about players poor remuneration, which indeed is a genuine concern. Where does the money to improve the players salaries come from if the little that is there is used to pay penalties for sins commited by some of us. We really need to style up. For God and my club Kogallo.

People its painful not to watch the match..but still the call for elders to plead on behalf of the GM fraternity should not be demonized..it happened stones were thrown..

It has happened the Chair has been aloof and somehow some people thought the only the way to get themselves heard was by causing mayhem!

We blame the office for their part and the hooligans for the lions’ share of the problem..but change comes with time and most of the time at a very expensive price..the bargain of having elders plead on our behalf is a welcome idea and should be pursued..leneancy plea is appropriate.

Jabilo and the rest i also plead that we begin brainstorming on how we believe the best way forward to handle our elections..
Coz i believe having a whole battalion of over twelve elected hungry individuals is the root cause of this greed, corruption, confusion and embarrassment at GM..

Why wouldn’t GM have a constitution of at most three office bearers rather than a whole village of hunters all claiming to be GM management who at the end of the day only cry wolf against others with GM money stuffed in their bellies!

  • What a season? Wednesday Gor is in Naivasha against Finlays for FKL Cup then if we win, we may meet Ingwe on 15th October for the semis.

I haven’t heard of the retreat and bonding session i suggested earlier for the technical and playing unit. The EC is quite casual in their approach to issues even though some of us side with them. The season is coming to a close and with the next two games behind closed doors i feel the EC owes the fans some official statement.

We cannot blame those who opt to throw stones yet those who should lead diplomatically with sorting or addressing issues are nowhere to be seen. The office was elected to run the club. What do they expect when club followers have to read rumours in newspapers and blogs. The noise and politics won’t cease. The numbers are falling and as usual they are treating it casually. The club followers have been banned two home games and they will treat it casually. Some people complained long ago about our standards of play and results and it was treated casually.

It is proven the world over that people do wrong things because of ignorance. If the issue in Gor is more than Zico, who will tell the fans what the issue is? Without Zico, some other name will fill the slot, maybe the assistant or this or that player. Please Mr. Ambrose Rachier if you are serious that you want to lead Kenyan football or be a Senator in Siaya in 2012, then you are failing a very simple test. Address the issues.

Why do you act like you are out of touch with reality. When morale is down in the club. When politics is fever pitch. When the clubs performance is down and we are loosing games. We see you launching a magazine. Whom is the magazine for? How much in sales do you expect at this time? The jerseys are supposed to be here anytime soon. Who will buy them at 2,800? Please deal with the issues at hand before they degenerate into other issues and become impossible to handle.

Mr. Rachier you are still the Chairman. Elections will come but you are still the chair. Please act like one.

@42 Albert Kosero (Sofaset Branch – Kampala) that is what i meant by saying that charity begins at home. The best we should do now is to rehabilitate our notorious fans on this blog before we engage the rest.

@ 43 Agwa Kassam and @44 Creative Village your comments is well put and i agree with both of you.

But with all due reservation to our current ineffective ADMINISTRATION and TECHNICAL BENCH please lets us for once re-assess the character of TROUBLE-MAKERS we are talking about.

    1. They are abnormal people who are so daring to the
extent of smoking bang and drinking changaa openly
in the stadium. In brief they support GM under the
influence of intoxication and have no respect at all.

    2. They represent certain interest within GM EC echleon
and as such they are goons for hire.

    3. Most of them access the stadia through counterfeit
tickets hence they have no financial obligation to
support the team they claim to be loving.

    4. They classify themselves as VILLAGE MATES and we all
know very well that it is easy to bring somebody
from the VILLAGE but it is difficult to remove the
    VILLAGE from his/her world view.

    5. The characters are slowly developing into a very
dangerous cult within KO’GALO fraternity. We all
know how a dangerous a cult can be if not checked
and wiped out within the soonest time possible .

NOW AS WE ALL CALL FOR CALM AT THIS VERY DIFFICULT MOMENTS AND EVEN IF WE ENGAGE ELDERS TO NEGOTIATE ON OUR BEHALF ; THE ABOVE NAMED CHARACTERS SHOULD BE REFERRED TO AS THUGS AND LET THEM BE IDENTIFIED TO FACE THE FULL FORCE OF LAW.

If rachier was hoping to use the club as a springboard to politics then his dreams died this weekend. He has subjected Kogalo to the worst humiliation in its history. The sad part is that it was predicted by many for months. Yet Rachier and his sycophants did nothing.
AFC are superior in every way. Better coach, motivated players and high morale. Kogalo players have simply stopped trying. Something is ailing the playing unit and needs to be rectified. I dont think Rachier will do anything. So its up to Mashabik.
Rachier will end up with no position. Not KFF or senator or Kogalo chairman. He has ruined it with his gross negligence.

  • R.I.P PROF. W. MAATHAI

Away from football matters, I wish to convey my heartfelt condolences to the family, friends and indeed all Kenyans on the demise of the late Prof. Wangari Maathai.
We, the K’Ogalo family feel saddened by this loss. She was a mother and indeed a role model to the youth- who form 85 percent of the club fanbase. At one time, when I saw her kissing a tree, i dismissed her as a mad woman. When television cameras filmed her trying to access Karura forest barefoot and only with a hoe on her hand, Kenyans still could not understand her mission. What she got instead was a matter in public domain.

On the international, she received accolades for her conservation and human rights efforts. She is a Nobel peace prize winner, the first woman in Africa to be bestowed with such an honor.

Let us propagate the ideals she stood for. But perhaps the greatest honor we can give her now is to plant at least one tree. May the Almighy rest her soul in eternal peace.

We will not be watching the Sony, Chemelil home matches? Yaaaaawnnn. This was coming all the time because of unruly conduct of a section of supporters… But if you look carefully, are they really Gor supportes? My stand on this blog has always been to refrain from that kind of behavior.

Money matters? We should still give the club what we would have paid to watch the matches. What I mean is just print the tickets and sell them at the prices they would have gone for. Genuine Kogallo supporters please say something on this.

As for Okoth Jabilo’s proposal, it it is a good idea. But do not forget to invite Kosero, if he is genuine in all his contributions.

  • I think we now all agree that our issues go deeper than we think. We seem to have so many camps in the team that I wonder that the centre is still holding so far. But the buck stops with the chair. We need him to lead from the front. We know he is an elitist but unfortunately the team consists of all shades of members from university professors to the lowest in society and they all have to be catered for equally. After our game on Sunday while having a drink at the joints at Nyayo something got me thinking, I saw a very senior EC member donning an Arsenal jersey instead of GM and others basically any attire instead of GM. In the first match where we won they proudly displayed their Gor-ness. Were they ashamed to be associated with the team on saturday? But one person who impressed me was the Dagoreti branch chair who was even planning to organise for his branch to attend the Bandari game. Those are the characters we need. The latest news is that Congo and AFC are raising issues with our continued stay in the FKL cup. I wonder why they had no issues with teams like Western Sugar who , like us, proceeded despite losing. Must be the threat we still pose to them.

@Ja Thur gi ji have no doubt in your mind. I have been a Gor follower since 1980. The last time Gor visited Kampala i.e 2009 October, to play frendlies againt Villa and Express I and a few others mobilised Kenyans to the stadium. We later hosted them for dinner. That is just how serious I am with Kogallo. May be it is not necessary to tell you all these but I just wanted to tell all those who doubt Kosero, that I am a real follower. For God and my club Kogallo.

  • . . . . . . guys, it is great to hear that you want to save the team, . . the question is, “how?” . . . .the problem is with the technical bench, who ran out of footballing ideas in April when we played Congo in Mombasa, then resorted to luck and fluke refereeing decisions to win matches . . . . .so guys, I suggest that the only way forward is to bring in a new tactician since the current is good, but not good enough to take us to the next level( in fact, we are on on a downward spiral at this crucial stage!) . . . ..Now that Ulinzi has been awarded the rights to play the 2games they missed, we can guess where the league is headed, and I had so great!! . . . so great, that I can compare you to the failed ideas that Zico has . . . . .for you( Kosero) and my team Gor Mahia!!

why is it that every team in kpl desires to humble kogalo? why?……because…..

    1. every player & coach in kpl desires so heartedly to don the kogalo jersey hence the need to prove their abilities and in what way best other than against gor

    2. we have always displayed natural free flowing soccer, the envy of many

    3. we have the only loyal & dependable fan base, heavy spenders, articulate, innovative, aggressive…..full of swagga…………………….

whenever there are turbulent challenges as they may seem to have bombarded us, there is something good ‘cooking’ somewhere that we’ll enjoy for a very very long time! i can feel back to back titles, continental participation season in season out. the glorious days are knocking, just awaiting ushering in!
we must remain composed, focussed & committed as a unit. i have a lot of faith in the talent pooled (our players) this season & the subsequent ones.
personally, i will not be in naivasha, however, will keenly monitor the proceedings as our redemption begins on wednesday the 5th

Its a good idea that i support and its worth noting that progressive issues like the bus was mooted, promoted and implemented by fans and i believe we are all happy.

Lets take it up ( the branch issue)and be people who speak and do.

We already have a meeting point and communication channel that we can easily exploit.

  • As we seek redemption, please bwana Chairman talk to the Ghana and Nigeria embassies to second one of their national youth coaches. I believe they do a great job in bringing out the best in young players. We should have learnt our lessons now and need to build a team slowly to challenge for any available trophies.

South Africa, Nigeria, Zambia and Ghana also have a number of tactically superior foreign coaches training the league clubs and i believe with the resources we have currently it’s not impossible to achieve that by end of season. The reason we need a foreign tactician is because the officials tend to give respect and room for them to operate unlike their local counterparts. We will also avoid this debate of so and so’s signing or player.

Our goals must go beyond beating Ingwe. We need to feature in Africa. We need to play beautiful soccer too and lastly we need to feed Harambee with quality. Harambee is currently a reflection of what we have available in the league.

creative village and fellow bloggers i feel compelled to comment on this foreign coach issue..

    1. What do we make of Coach Siang’a whom we chased away (though its now clear that he was being sabotaged by a former wannabe coach)in GM. Is this not the guy who went to Simba TZ and remoulded/reconstructed that club after years of ruin and made it a winning outfit of back to back titles.

    2. Is it not the same guy who began the K’ogalo recovery that was runners up last season..he himself said he was building a team of the future.

    3. As such i do not believe that its only the foreigners that will make us win but still all are free to join and build this great team.

    4. Well, i mean to say it is that team of the future that we cried and wept as Zico pulled down blatantly since the season began and Blackberry was so much concerned about last week..its funny we are now calling for all these foreigners and other coaches from wherever.. had Zico played by the rules of humility and professionalism we would have forgotten such words..F.C..by the way are Kimanzi, Nyangweso,Dave Ouma,Edward Manoa foreign coaches..even the TP Mazembe guy who guided them to world championship finals is an African..its bitter to accept but its arrogance and determination to pull down GM that made ZD destroy a good young team just because it was built by someone else..i really feel bad about this destruction.

5.Look at the way GM players dominated the national teams at the senior and youth levels just a few years back!

In short i mean to say we have builders and teachers among us God almighty couldn’t have been so biased to create managers and put them in Europe only..we are fond of spoiling for ourselves.

At this rate we’ll be asking for Europeans to man our gates when it maybe..God forbid, people amongst us corrupting our ways into the stadia..

WE CAN HANDLE ALL THESE THINGS FOOTBALL AND DEVELOPMENT.

ITS ON THESE PREMISE THAT I HAVE CONSISTENTLY FOR DISMISSAL OF ZICO AND OUTRIGHT VOTING OUT THE ENTIRE GM OFFICE 9AT ELECTION TIME)- ZICO FOR SPOILING THE GOOD TEAM AND THE OFFICE FOR PRESIDING OVER THAT DESTRUCTION AND FAILING TO MOVE GM TO THE NEXT LEVEL!
