Mark Harrison

Coach Mark Harrison was hired in August of 2021 to replace Vaz Pinto who had suddenly resigned. Harrison took over at a time when the club was experiencing intense financial difficulties and a transfer ban placed by FIFA. It was never going to be easy.
And it was not. Gor Mahia were a fairly average team, with a distinct lack of quality players and a lack of depth. Matters reached a head when Gor Mahia who were 5th in the standings, lost 0-3 to Posta Rangers in January of 2022. Harrison was fired along with assistant coach Sammy Omollo Pamzo.
