  • jerry jerry jerry. why do they insist on fielding this guy. most of the games we lost last year was due to crazy errors from him. if gor want the other keepers to perform jerry must go he is the.weakest link in the team and yet courtesy of the officials was the armband, how i ask?. i think gor mahia needs prayers to exorcise any evil spirits in its midist coz they are there.

1)The office should hire a camera man to record all our matches and hand the dvd to the technical bench immediately after every match.the bench should then review the perfomance of every player by monday and note areas of improvement.what we have noted is that we are making the same mistakes all season while some players are a liability to the rest.the sooner we do this the better.
2)we should hire the services of our legends such as dawo, austin oduor and ocholla and ensure they keep tabs on the players on the pitch.after every game they should work on the averages and rate the players on a scale of 10.
NOTE:We are in a hole and we better stop digging and find our way out of it.
WE HAVE PEOPLE WITH CONTACTS IN THE MEDIA LIKE MIKE OKINYI,GIDDY,CHIKO LAWI ,ODINDO OYIEKO WHO SHOULD GIVE OGWENO AND BOBBY DVD OR TAPES FOR THE MUHORONI ,THIKA AND OTHER MATCHES SO THAT THEY CAN RECTIFY OUR WEAKNESSES ASAP.

I am still saying we played a very good game, a lot of people will tell you the same, we played terrific football we just could not score. Actually its one of those days that the results do not reflect what went on in the pitch.

I see people saying sack such and such players and so forth and i wonder which game they watched or if they are in football only to celebrate goals.

Waxme and sir Jerry above you’ve said it! GM need three things..before i say them let me say again..AFTER PLAYING ORGANIZED FOOTBALL AS WE DID, FAILURE TO SCORE ONLY CALLS FOR THREE THINGS.

    PRAYERS PRAYERS PRAYERS..

We need to pray for the team to cast away the evil spirits that prevented the ball from entering the net.

We are very bad fans many times with some people even saying that we could not score 4 goals just because GM has never scored in two tears when we all saw what happened..why this predestination.

It was organized, purposeful football and disciplined approach for the game..The tech bench made GM proud even further with their superb substitutions..the team was and is great.

I’ve never seen GM play so tactfully and professionally like that for a long time.

Lastly..JBO never bow to any pressure especially from the fans, many of them are losers who thrive on shouting others down..you saw they wanted Jerry out at half time ..what if Kasaya gets injured who takes the position? Some say Rama must play..then where is the authority of the tech bench and their professionalism to determine who to play in which match..thanks you let Kasaya warm up to fool them that they were going to have their way.

Poor GOR….now I fear for the careers of the young players we signed last year. the likes of RAMA & MIDENYO whose games was on the rise and now there it stalls as we watch.Even a penalty where the ref ensures all players are all behind you and what remains is kicking the ball against the goalkeeper and still you cant do that! recall peace cup against OGWANGS, KPL & FKL match against tusker, a penalty against Muho-ruin and now in a CAF cup match against Ferioviario on saturday!!!We are basically & surely a village team as some of us are reffering to Kogalo!

    Reply
  • So with Ivo injured for the game against ferraviro whom did we want in goal? We know Kasaya is good but did we want to take that gamble as Jerry is more experienced. Let’s not only look at the negatives. As much as Jerry at times makes mistakes which goalkeeper doesn’t. Let’s encourage all of our keepers to be the best. For DVD for games on supersport the team or even an individual can always get a copy of the game and I don’t believe GM is so naive as not to do the same. For games not being televised as said we can get someone to video tape them for future analysis. On the two matches this week we can continue believing that one or both of them will be the turning point for the team. I look forward to both matches with an open mind and expecting anything though hoping for the best. As usual the ‘real’ green army will be there to play our part. For the faint-hearted who only avail theselves when the run is good poleni sana.

  • we players do read this comments too and at least we know how you regard us especially we the recent players. the fear you put in us believe me nobody can kick the ball given that chance.i wonder who will take the next penalty when on the pitch. I know we have a big share of blame to take but not as you have put it .I wish i had not taken this move.

  • Thanks Dan, Wuonpap and Agwa. Before the game last week i appealed for positive energy. So many fans are doing the opposite.

What makes us fans think that our team is so great when the data is there for all to see that the last time we won was in 1995. It is these wild imaginations that bring pressure on players, the bench and the office. It is these wild imaginations that are our problem. We crown ourselves champions before the games begin then we can’t accept a loss. Why can’t we for once take a realistic audit of our team and be patient. If we continue to imagine that we must win this season then Big Bob will have to go. He won’t get the time to do what he can. The next guy hired after him will also go!

The game i watched on Saturday going by our recent record was good enough. By recent record i mean since 1995. The team needs our support in order to improve on the game we saw. Please fellow Kogalo faithful, i beg you to be patient and just enjoy the game. Support our boys through good and bad times. Support our office and trust our bench.

I happened to watch Tusker vs Thika yesterday and now more than ever i believe it’s our negative energy that is bringing us down. The champions were average.

Lastly, i happened to sit at Russia on Saturday and i wish to tell the office that soon we will be fined / banned for chaos. Frustrated fans descended on each other during the game and what if it was Ingwe or other local opponents? Please get security to deal with these goons who never want to sit down. They constantly harassed patient policemen throughout the match.

IT IS SOLIDARITY WITH THE TEAM TILL THE END OF THE SEASON
I thank you guys for keeping faith and staying put with our team despite the downward trend we are experiencing with our performances on both local and international front.

On this note I would like to recognize and appreciate the unwavering support from bloggers like Dan,Agwa Assam,Arrumtiddi, Jackowili,MWAKIO, Pareyio,Sir Jerry,JABILO,Wuon Pap,Nyar Kgalo “Diva”,amongst many others that have been offering voices of reason as opposed to the likes of Kosero and his likes the so called “Jonny come too late on this blog” who knows themselves without quoting names and seems to be edging towards hitting the last nail on K’Ogalos coffin I really feel sorry for your pathetic mood and kindly beg that you give us some room until GOR MAHIA plays against TUSKER and AFC.

So as we resume to our winning as from 19th march 2012 we shall be happy to blog with you guys as it used be during the glorious moments of last season, but for now take a break because you are more of a disgrace to the spirit GOR MAHIA football fraternity.

YES WE NEED PRAYERS !. BUT WHO DO WE DEDICATE OUR PRAYERS TO?

The prayers should first and foremost be directed to none other the dead and living spirit of GOR wuod OGADA , OGADA wuod OGALO and lastly to GOR “kom bilo Ma K’Ogalo”.

The spirit of GOR MAHIA must be appeased at all cost and there is no short cut to this This is not “JUJU” as some us bloggers have always been alluding that this guy JABILO categorically is ” RESEARCH” oriented person. I posted last time telling you guys that the ZAMBIA government comprising of former president Kenneth Kaunda, the sitting president, vice president, Current football federation chair Kalusha Bwalya and the entire technical bench and the playing unit were not practicing witch when they visited the Plane crash site of the famous “KK-ELEVEN” in Gabon prior to playing Cote de voir in the finals of AFCON and we all saw what happened.

I have said and will not tire from insisting that GOR MAHIA problems starts and ends at no where else other than NDHIWA and precisely KA NYAMWA . The family of K’Ogalo is still there at large and currently the government has adopted both the homestead “Grave-Site” of GOR MAHIA and the entire family as part of tourism attraction involving the LUO LEGENDARY FOLKLORE as part and parcel for RUMA NATIONAL PARK situated in LAMBWE VALLEY. The site of K’Ogalo attracts approximately 1700 foreign tourist annually and the reason for the visit was to to understand the “LUO-HERO” who possess mysterious powers that would make him perform miracles.

The begging question making the K’Ogalo football club fraternity looking confused, pathetic, tormented, dejected, repulsive and lastly an object of pity worth sending into the football dust bin is why “THE SPIRIT IS ACTIVELY REVIVED WITH A LOT OF STORM WITHIN 12TH MAN namely the “FOLLOWERS, FANS,SUPPORTERS or GREEN ARMY”, where as the real spirit the is suppose to cause havoc on the pitch has eluded the current players and the EC at large such the 12 th man is just far and above the rest as can be witnessed with post on this site?

We have been dedicating our prayers and our finances to wrong characters. In the 70s and 80s the prayers and song were simply directed to none other the real K’Ogalo whose remains resting in lamb we valley and the spirits used to invade players on the pitch with out too much pressure . The EC by then used to identify with K’Ogalo familly at a very close personal approach such that they also felt part and parcel of the football fraternity riding over their family name. This is how I witnessed the best ever performance of K’Ogalo by winning the continental cup, East and central challenge and KFF league cup.

JBO knows this things very well and the current EC should not block their ear from reality on the ground. We shall keep on crying, calling each other names, look dejected and keep on hoping for the best but to no avail unless we realize that GOR MAHIA is a dead living spirit in football and it must be appeased at all cost.

How do you reason DROGBA missing penalty during play and scoring during shoot out. So far we are kissing penalties, threatening players, sacking coaches, abusing players without even evaluating our historical background, where is our origin, what happen to our unity purpose and the strength of togetherness. This lot currently playing for GOR majority has no idea what in the first place GM stands and that is why they can not honor the pride of wearing the GM jersey as expected when they are on the pitch.

WE MUST TAME GHOST OF FEAR, DEFEAT, COWARDICE AND REPLACE IT WITH SPIRIT OF THE EVER MYSTERIOUS, FEARLESS AND UNDEFEATED MAHIA.

If it gets to worse then invite JOLEGO WITH PUBLIC DEMAND CLEAN UP EVERYTHING.

Let me divert a bit.Following the blast at Machakos Airport the next high risk area is the rowdy K’galo Russian Stand. The rag tag GM stewards continue to “allow” thugs with alcoholic drinks in bottles to enter the stadia.Al shabab can easily take advantage and sneak in their undercover militants with petrol bombs and unleash mayhem on fans.
The fan who wears the jersey labelled BLACKY and his group should be banned. It is these guys who caused all the fracas and fighting at half-time.Blacky even moves around with a crutch he tried to use as a weapon against innocent fans.

Christian believes that Jesus is the living dead GOD and so is Muslim who believe that Mohamed is ther dead living GOD, and so is Ismaliah, and so is Jo Legio Maria and ONDETTO, the list is endless.

That is gone lets give Bobby free space we shall overcome infact the boyz played well though we lost concentration.back in 80s we used to have specialities for corner balls and penalty the likes of late Sammy Onyango Jogoo whom could score from corner balls.I think Bobby has seen that our players shy away from taking the shots.we should have specialities to take penalty with this we can go far away person like Rama is good on that maybe fans can also suggest names coz I know the coach is reading this blog.

Back to game.Guys within the first 15 mins GM had squandered not 3 open chances but 3 sitters, Hugo shooting the ball wide when scoring would ave bin easier by heading, the Ali penalty,Dube missed a chance coz as usual he always prefers to pass than making an attempt at goal.
Fer had panicked so much that they had picked 2 yellow cards.
At this point it meant that if GM could have scored even 1 goal e.g the penalty(with the current frontline our only hope is to petition FIFA on adapt mobile goalposts) then definitely 2/3 Fer players would have been sent off, leaving GM with even a greater advantage.
As the game progressed Makori missed a chance when scoring was easier and Hugo wasted another open header. As the game progressed Jerim let us down, Dube kept running all over pitch with no purpose, he could not even take corners properly. No doubt we’ve improved from the Zico days when the whole team had no pattern but I still say we r doomed if we cant score. AND SOME FOWARDS IN GM CANT SCORE SO Y KIP THEM. i rest my case.

2.all the good proposals which the dear fans have suggested have been implemented by afc but not gor mahia
3.the current ECmust be sacked now not tomorrow we are in for along trip home with relegation lingering on our heads from the way we played against feviarro it was clear the players looked as if they were under instruction not ot win to single out this rasta ,abondo ,jerry hugo and mwalimu they diid nothing to help the team

For GOR MAHIA prayers remains as the only unexploited avenue. We should explore and apply the prayers fervently in one direction without fear, shame or favor.

GOR MAHIA F.C is part and parcel of the legend and we can not separate the two. When we play we should always recall that we honor none other than the owner of the name and football is the avenue through which his spirits dwell both in life and posthomously.

This is my call for those who lead singing choirs and choruses in the terraces. This songs can make the terraces and fans in general socially entertained when done with right purpose but at the same. They cause havoc to the entire GM fraternity when handled carelessly.

THE SPIRIT OF K’OGALO IS ARMORPHUS FRAGILE UNIT THAT WE NEED TO HaoLD ON TO LIKE LIFE &DEATH AND WE SHALL OVERCOME OUR PREDICAMENT.

Still on security and this, goes to the authorities concerned, match organisers and all stakeholders i.e kenya police, kpl, ssmb, gor mahia, afc leopards etc. This coming sunday we are having a very ‘high voltage’ local derby also called the in-laws derby.
Please, please, please lets have the fans on the russian end separated.I know that the two set of fans sit on different sides of the stadium, but the border at the russian side has always been a flashpoint. Please lets have a ‘buffer zone’ between the two sets of fans.
A good numbes of armed policemen/women should stand between the two set of fans and a no mans’ land zone created between the two set of fans.No one should be allowed to sit on this no mans’ land.I know this will reduce revenue, but its’ better to be broke than sorry.

The game has literally changed in terms of pace, player physic amongst other issues. Let’s mould what we currently have into a winning outfit. Otherwise wishing for the 70s will not make the 2010s any better.
On hooliganism it has been said more and more on this site. We don’t need that type of behaviour at least not in this age and time. We currently go to the stadium with our ladies and children and we expect to enjoy the atmosphere. Basically it’s upto us to police our neighbours. The moment we discourage them and not be party to their behaviours they will just stop. We give them the audience and this encourages them

@ Waxme on post no:32 be informed that problems and the devil you are calling GOR MAHIA originated from traditional African believes and not traditional JEWS and ISREALITES CUM WESTERNIZED believes.

Your Jehovah will glorify GOR MAHIA in the SPIRIT of K’OGALO and that is not “JUJU” .

If JESUS performed miracles and you believe he resurrected from the dead and you continue to worship HIM as the LORD.

So when it comes to African soccer and GM for that matter be informed that GOR MAHIA THE LEGEND also performed some awe mysterious miracles be it “JUJU” or not and you indirectly succumb to his legion by supporting GM and why cant you not believe that GOR F.C can also perform miracle on the football pitch just like JESUS inside your church of CHRIST.

PLEASE GO PRAY IN YOUR CHURCH. MYSELF I WILL HEADING TO NDHIWA FOR THE REAL PRAYERS AT THE GRAVE-SIDE AND LET COMPARE NOTES NEXT WEEK ON MONDAY AFTER PLAYING AFC.

Those evil SPIRITS are called “NYAWAWA” in dholuo language. Ask the LUO elders how “NYAWAWA’S are exorcised and they willconfidently tell you that its not in the church of GOD but you send them to lake VICTORIA by making noise calling “YIMBO! YIMBO!…and directing the wave of bad spirits to YIMBO through GOT RAMOGI and finally into NAM LOLWE.

@ David Ochieng Wamuoso believe not brother if you really watched the likes of William Chege ouma wuod Okuyu and !……and Sammy Owino “Kempes” during those days or rather ndalo ma chon you have all the reason to be bitter but at what price? Definitely not wishing your beloved club to sink into relegation or worse still comparing the young and upcoming to village clubs?

I urge you to just relax and go AWOL then once JBO gets his chemistry right against TUSKER and AFC , that will be right time for all of us to re-unite in this forum and move forward together as real GOR MAHIANS. I agree it’s very painful stomaching four defeats at different competitions in a row but that what at times sports is all about. This things just happens whatever the circumstances, you might call them Bad luck, Bad Omen,Bad spell,Dooms period,Bad luck but at the end of it you should come out stronger than ever.

Tottenham hotspurs are now experiencing the same with ten matches to go in the EPL after recently being referred to as TITLE contenders, Arsenal went through the same spell and are now out of the woods and strongly competing to achieve the top four EURO SLOT.

We have only played three KPL matches winning one and loosing two is that not to early to suggest that we should be thinking of relegation?

Who is that writing off GM as non title contenders? And on what grounds? YAWA!…..

If you can not stomach and be patient for things to change then let us not destroy our very own club since I can not subscribe to any other club of which I have no affiliation as football lover. It has taken MORIHNO quite some time to find the formulae of dislodging BARCA from LA LIGA but he has only beaten BARCA once in the COPA DE LAREY or Kings Cup out the several champions league and La Liga matches for the last two years.

So please let us give JBO the benefit of doubt and as a former legion of GM he knows exactly what to do. He will blend the SIA’NGA BOYS and the EXPERIENCED players like Ivo Mapunda and the likes within the shortest period required as long as we are also promising to remain supportive and optimistic with both WORDS and ACTIONS especially on this BLOG. I REST MY CASE.

Even though all nyawawa are directed to YIMBO, ‘good things’ can still come out of Yimbo and GM has had a fair share of greats from Yimbo like William Chege Ouma, Paul Oduwo Cobra, David Ochieng Kamoga and George Ousa.

  • I have also seen the news. If he has been identified in conjunction with JBO then I support the move 100%. The problem with us is that there are so many armchair coaches just like @Kosero says. The moment we stop interfering and even proposing a line up for the coach that’s when we will go far. I know most fans are crying for a mzungu coach but what I know is that we cannot afford to pay the best of them. So therefore let’s set up the foundation and with time getting that mzungu coach will not be a hassle. Unless we are lucky to get a tourist/retiree like our shemejis we might be in a far worse situation. What I know about Matano is that he is a disciplinarian and that’s what some of our players need. What of some of them absconding training/matches on some flimsy reasons. We blamed AA for not being tough so Matano (tough disciplinarian) and JBO (tactical) is what I would advocate for. All this so long as it’s not some knee-jerk reaction a
or some desparate move. Otherwise I comment the EC for trying all their best to uplift our team. Somewhere along the way we will get the right chemistry/mix and be back where we belong. What nobody can say is when that will be. All the best to the GM community

  • Jackowili

If it is true then let us respect Bobby’s decision and learn to live with it. EC gave JBO a free hand to pick someone he can work with cohesively and JBO said he would think about it. Well if he has thought about it and settled for Matano so be it.

Bobby knows more about Gor and he is more Gor than any of us. He wants the best for this team. Deep inside, he must be out to make another milestone in Gor: a successful manager. He was a successful player, a superb stopper, a legendary free-kick expert, a great captain with several silverware in the cabinet. If ‘Emperor’ Franz Backenbaur has done it, is it wrong for Bobby to dream? We can contribute to his dream by according him a very conducive environment that is bereft of any noise or unnecessary criticism.

Dream on wuod Ogolla. The sky is the limit. Who knows? Perhaps one day you will be GM chairman and even FKL chairman!
